San Francisco-based Verve Coffee Roasters is the gourmet coffee destination in Yebisu Garden Place. You can choose from numerous single-origin pour-over coffees, a few espresso options, and cold brew and nitro brew when available. There are special seasonal blends, and they always have a "quick cup" option - convenient when you're in a hurry.

Verve is a snack destination as well, offering nice grilled-cheese, pastrami-avocado and other hot pressed sandwiches. Waffles come with cacao and coffee mascarpone, or ricotta with home-made jam. A dozen or so pastries cover the range from double chocolate brownies and banana-nut pound cakes to white-chocolate cookies.

The lively dining room is quite big, and there are several tables on the patio in front looking out over the busy pedestrian traffic of Yebisu Garden Place. They're open from early morning well into the evening.
