Hangetsu is a spice curry specialist, and their curries are intensely flavored, quite meaty, and more fiery (and maybe a bit saltier) than average. You can enhance the flavors further with a dash of their own exclusive sauce made from apple cider and fish sauce. The pickles and bits of vegetables dotting the rice complement the curries nicely.

Drinks include a bracing yuzu-vinegar soda as well as the usual lassis. Seating is at a relatively comfortable counter, and the shop is open all day so you can avoid some of the Ginza crowds by visiting during off-peak hours like mid-afternoon on weekdays.
