

Curry no Mise Hachigatsu serves a typical range of chicken, pork, shrimp and hamburg steak curries, though they're best known for their voluminous seasonal-vegetable curry. The roux is tasty and packs a decent amount of heat, but doesn't overpower the distinctive flavors of the numerous vegetables. We recommend opting for the add-on helping of meaty keema, to create a well-balanced combo plate.
Drinks include regular and mango lassi, craft cola, apple juice, iced coffee and beer.
The shop is open all day and they seem to have continuous traffic throughout the afternoon. Purchase your tickets from the machine in front of the shop, then let them know if you want your rice in a small, medium or large-size portion. The interior is quite compact, but they've somehow managed to squeeze in a few tiny tables to supplement the four-seat counter. Take-out is also available.
