Treat yourself to a coffee adventure at the tastefully minimalist Ogawa Coffee Laboratory, where you can select any of 19 different single-origin beans and blends. The theme of the shop is "Experience-based Bean Salon," so go ahead, give the beans a sniff!

You can choose from pour-over (hot only), espresso variations (hot or iced), or Aeropress treatment for whatever beans you select. In addition to coffee they serve desserts, and they stock an impressive range of coffee-making equipment, for home or cafe.

The original Ogawa Coffee Lab is in Kyoto, where they've attracted something of a cult following. The Shimo-Kitazawa branch is also quite popular, and it's set up with plenty of space to handle customers, with a comfortable full-length bench running along one wall and several more benches just out front.
