Despite the name, one of the things we like best about this gorgeously appointed bar is its relaxed atmosphere. (The name comes from its location on the top floor of a boutique hotel called The Lively.) There are comfortable sofas to stretch out on and a couple of tables out on the mini-terrace overlooking Tokyo Tower, with well-selected jazz playing in the background and an attentive staff to take care of your needs.
If you enjoy exploring creatively designed cocktails you've got more than a dozen to choose from here. Among them are a tasty "Pear Mousse Fizz" (Pear Vodka, Pear Mousse and Tonic Water) and a rather sweet but well balanced "Don Fruity" (Don Julio Resposado Tequila, Rooibos Tea, Passion Fruit, Clear Milk). Other intriguing combinations are "Adults Only Cream Soda" (Dark Rum, Yogurt, Melon, Vanilla) and "Marsh'more Chocolate" (Cointreau, Dark Chocolate, Milk, Marshmallow; served hot).
The bar also serves original mocktails, such as the appealingly sweet "Otaku Colada" (Pineapple, Coconut, Sudachi) and a refreshing "Fake Gin & Tonic" (Original Spice Mix, Lime, Tonic Water).
The food menu offers simple snacks like charcuterie and cheese platters, braised pork belly, and potato salad. Desserts like assorted chocolates, chocolate cake and creme brulee of the day are all appropriate for pairing with the bar's many sweet cocktails.
