Located inside the Hawaiian Town mini-mall area of the Yokohama World Porters complex, Blue Water serves excellent Hawaiian-style garlic shrimp, to eat here or to take out. Shrimp comes in your choice of mild and spicy versions, in various portion sizes, and with or without rice and salad.

Blue Water's shrimps come swimming in a thick buttery sauce with an intensely garlicky flavor, more assertive than other versions of this dish we've had around town. It can be a bit messy to eat, since the shrimp come unpeeled, so bring some extra napkins - it's well worth the effort.

Other dishes include burgers, Mochiko Chicken, and garlic potatoes as a side dish. Hawaiian juices and beer are available on the drinks list. Seven pieces of shrimp a la carte will run Y800, while a ten-piece plate with rice and salad is Y1,300.
