This old-school curry shop has been going strong since 1960, offering classic curries that incorporate seventeen spices, chicken stock and a bit of coconut milk. The katsu-curry is the most popular item here (ordered by 23% of customers according to carefully researched statistics), while other options include menchi-katsu and croquettes, karaage fried chicken, and beef-vegetable.
They also offer a half-and-half plate with curry and Napolitan Spaghetti, an old yoshoku standby that was invented here in Yokohama in the early 1900s. There are a couple dozen curry choices in all, plus a dozen optional toppings and four levels of hotness, with medium-spicy as the default.
