Ever since opening day in 1927, the fryers in the kitchen of this 130-seat restaurant have been busy turning out tonkatsu, kushiage skewers, chicken cutlets, deep-fried prawns and oysters for the hungry crowds. They offer a few fancy prix-fixe menus, but most people go for the teishoku set meals, starting at Y1260.
