Darumaya lies along the Jujo Ginza Shotengai, a covered shopping street in northern Tokyo. Despite its location off the beaten track, this old-world cafe serves some of the city's most popular kakigori. The master is an encyclopedia of food knowledge, especially when it comes to tea and coffee. The green tea and azuki bean kakigori is particularly nice, but for something different try the special coffee kakigori (Y1100), or go for their ultra-high-class version (Y2600).
