Mimi
Ikebukuro: Rabbit cafe
Mimi (Ikebukuro: Rabbit cafe)
Mimi
Open 11am-10pm. Closed weekdays.
Sun: Open Sundays

Mimi has some of the friendliest and most relaxed rabbits we've encountered in Tokyo - we were impressed with how well they get along with each other, and how easy-going they are with human visitors. Unlike other cafes that allow only one or two rabbits out of their cages at one time, the playroom at Mimi is a non-stop rabbit party.

The one-hour cover charge here includes one drink, with some fifty varieties of coffee, tea and herbal tea to choose from. Also included is a small cup of rabbit kibble, which definitely helps to break the ice. After you've sanitized your hands and put on the apron that's provided, you can find a seat in the main playroom (or the smaller room if the cafe is crowded), and meet the eleven resident bunnies.

Note: currently open only on weekends. See more photos and details at Animal Cafes.com.
