Up-and-coming craft beermakers Outsider Brewing run this brewpub twelve minutes away from Kofu station. There are six taps, and prices range from Y450-550 for a 300ml glass, and Y750-900 for a 500ml pint.

The food menu offers several mushroom dishes, spicy wasabi pizza, and an unusual houtou-noodle pepperoncino, as well as more ordinary pub fare like fried chicken and sausages. The spacious dining room is up on the second floor (the first floor is devoted to brewing equipment), with a five-seat counter up front; there's also an outdoor terrace for when weather permits. Kofu is 104 minutes from Shinjuku by express train.
