Tucked away in a back alley near Shimo-Kitazawa station, Tag is a pleasantly relaxing spot for an afternoon break. The musical soundtrack is on the mellow side, and tablet computers are supplied on every table for your browsing needs (along with free WiFi).

Lunchtime runs until 4pm, with reasonably priced, well-prepared dishes, and there's a wide range of drinks, both caffeinated and alcoholic, to choose from. The space is decorated with random party decorations and big plastic trees, which provide a bit of privacy between tables. Unfortunately the cafe's small size means that it can get smoky at times.
