This mini-branch of one of our favorite Belgian beer bars sits at the Yoyogi end of Southern Terrace; convenient to Shinjuku station but sufficiently removed from the bustling crowds. And while the interior may be petite, you can enjoy plenty of fresh air out on the 72-seat terrace when Tokyo weather cooperates.

The food menu features excellent grilled platters with premium meats like Black Angus beef, Daisen chicken, and Tokyo X Pork. The mixed charcuterie plate is a nice accompaniment to your beers if you're not ready for a full meal, and of course Belgian-style frites are always welcome.

In addition to rotating list of ten or so beers on tap, you can choose from dozens of Belgians by the bottle, including seasonal brews and large-size special bottles for sharing. Reasonably priced European wines are available for non-beer-drinking members of your party.

Budget around Y4,000-5,000 for ample food and drink at dinnertime, or Y1,000 or so at lunchtime. The bar is open all day long, although there's a limited food menu during mid-afternoon cafe time.
