This branch of the original Joe's Shanghai in NYC is best known for their first-rate xiaolongbao (shoronpo) soup dumplings as well as their 59th-floor view. If you want a full dinner, prix-fixe menus start at around Y7,000, but you can also put together a lighter meal from small dishes like xiaolongbao (with both crabmeat and pork fillings), steamed shrimp dumplings, pork shumai and fried rice.
To meet your daytime dumpling requirements they offer a dimsum set lunch with five kinds of dim sum, a noodle or rice dish of the day, and "Super Rich Almond Panna Cotta with Black Honey Syrup" for dessert. Other lunches feature wok-fried noodles with seafood and vegetables; spicy dandan noodles; and stir-fried prawns in Szechuan hot and sour sauce. Most lunch specials are priced in the Y1,700-2,300 range.
