Sapporo-based soup curry shop Rojiura is famous for their tasty farm-fresh vegetables and their endlessly customizable bowls.

Choices start with the spicy soup, which comes in six varieties, made with various combinations of chicken and pork broth, miso, soy milk, coconut milk and roasted shrimp. Then you can choose from eleven levels of spiciness, starting with "0" (none) and "1" (normal) and escalating from there. Rice portions range from none to extra-large (450g).

Next, it's time to pick your main ingredients. The most popular variety is chicken (crisp or tender) with twenty vegetables. Braised pork belly, shrimp, and all-vegetable are among the other options. If you're hungry and feeling adventurous there's an extremely filling combo with braised chicken, fried chicken, garlic-fried broccoli, lamb, scallops and 11 kinds of vegetables.

Whatever your main ingredients, you can add on more than a dozen extra toppings like sliced pork belly, keema curry, fried fish and charred cheese. Drinks include home-made lassi, yuzu lassi, apple juice and beer.
