The charcoal-grilled chicken here is first-rate, as are the extremely fresh vegetable starters. Heirloom-breed chicken is featured prominently on the menu (along with top-grade pork), and although a few of our favorite cuts aren't served here, everything we tried was great, particularly the wings and tsukune.

There's a decent sake selection to go with your food, although it helps if you read Japanese (the Japanese sake list has more to offer). On the minus side are the service and the all-Beatles soundtrack.
