This very popular Tokyo-based curry shop prepares hearty European-style curries featuring a huge selection of ingredients and extra toppings. One of our favorites is the "Zenbu", a very filling bowl loaded with tandoori chicken, stewed pork, shrimp and cheese in a rich, slightly sweet roux.
Some of the more unusual choices here include shrimp-avocado, fried cod, leek, and lemon curries. After you've picked your main ingredients you can choose special toppings (Gouda cheese, fried egg, mushrooms, spicy ratatouille), adjust the size of your rice portion, and specify your desired degree of spiciness on a scale of zero to twenty.
There's also a tapas menu of small dishes to go with drinks - grilled lamb chops, grilled duck, spicy tofu, seafood marinades - and exotic desserts like coconut ice cream with Chinese medicinal herbs. Prices are quite reasonable.
