Open 11am-8:45pm (LO) daily.
Sun: Open Sundays

This long-running specialty shop serves some of the best kushiage in town. The lightly breaded, deep-fried skewers of seafood and vegetables are crisp in texture and always fresh-tasting. Firm, crunchy asparagus, with or without bacon, is especially recommended when it's available.

You can order your kushiage in preset assortments of seven, ten or thirteen skewers, or a la carte. If you order by the piece there are dozens of different skewers to explore, including fancy items like shiitake mushrooms stuffed with shrimp and salmon topped with salmon roe. Drinks include beer, sake, fruit liqueurs and highball cocktails.

Seating is mainly at the big wrap-around counter, where you can watch your food being prepared. Quiet jazz plays in the background. Open since 1980, they're located in the Unimall underground complex branching off from Nagoya Station, near Exit 11.
