This centrally located cat cafe is notable for its floor-to-ceiling windows, bathing the interior in light and keeping the cats entertained watching the neighborhood activities. The playroom is laid out in a maze-like pattern with lots of nooks and crannies where you can stretch out without directly facing other visitors.
Weekday afternoons aren't very crowded, and late afternoon or dusk is a good time to see the resident two dozen or so cats at their most active.
Admission is charged for the first half hour, then every ten minutes after that. There's also a one-drink minimum when you enter; drinks include coffee, tea and fruit drinks. Cat treats are priced at Y200 for a small portion of dry kibble, or Y400 for a packet of a foamy concoction that cats go crazy for.
Outlets are available for recharging, and there's a bench at the front door where you can exchange your street shoes for slippers.
Note that although the cafe is officially part of Parco department store, it's not in one of the main Parco buildings, but a smaller building called PARCO midi.
