Harukanaru (Nagoya: Curry)
Harukanaru
Open 11:30am-2:30, 5:30-9pm (LO) daily.
Sun: Open Sundays

The tasty original curries here are loaded with fresh vegetables, sourced directly from local farmers, and served with Koshihikari brown rice from Niigata. Curries are attractively presented, spice mixes are well balanced, and the diverse ingredients provide appealing contrasts in texture and flavor.

The signature Harukanaru Curry incorporates eight or nine different vegetables along with two tender stewed chicken wings. Optional toppings include soft-boiled eggs, melted cheese, cilantro, roast seaweed and tofu burgers. You can also order extra vegetables and extra roux.

The spacious main counter has six seats, with a handful of tables in the small dining area in back. The background music is R&B played at a low volume.

On Sundays they are open only for lunch. Takeout curries are available, and you can also buy fresh vegetables to take home.
