The wood-burning pizza oven occupies pride of place behind the main counter at this popular Italian spot, and the chefs keep it busy as they prepare nearly a dozen varieties. These include a special Burrata Cheese with Raw Ham, a very local Hakata Mentaiko with Seafood, a cheesy Cinque Formaggi, and calzones.
Pizzas here have a flavorful, chewy crust, and are easily foldable. Cheese and other toppings are ample, and are often distributed a bit unevenly so that each slice is distinctive.
The menu also features a good selection of appetizers (Eggplant Caponata, carpaccio of local seafood) and main dishes (Grilled Sea Bream in Basil Sauce, Pork Saltimbocca). At lunchtime you can pick your starters, main dishes and desserts in generous set menus priced at Y1,500 and Y2,500.
