Anzu
Fukuoka Tenjin: Tonkatsu
Anzu (Fukuoka Tenjin: Tonkatsu)
Anzu
Open 11am-9:30pm (LO) daily.
Sun: Open Sundays

Anzu offers a good variety of tonkatsu-centered prix-fixe meals featuring soup, rice, pickles and various seasonal side dishes. Their signature dish is Tonkatsu Chazuke (pork cutlet with green tea poured over rice), and they also prepare original curries with a topping of either tonkatsu or fried prawns.

The setting is nicer than you might expect in a department-store restaurant, with large, well-separated tables, subdued lighting and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere.
