

A menu full of exotic, sometimes savory wine-based cocktails is a fresh concept, and Swrl carries it off with panache. So many intriguing options: "Brooklyn", combining peanut butter and celery over a Chardonnay base; "Barcelona", an alluring mix of tomato, elderflower and rose wine; "San Diego", flavored with ginger, kombucha and Riesling.
Supplementing the world tour of fancy cocktails, Swrl offers more than a dozen wines by the glass and by the bottle; non-alcoholic drinks like home-made cola and 0% sangria (made with wine reduction); and unfiltered white beer on tap. A Latin-inspired food menu features Arroz con Pollo; Oaxacan Chicken Mole; Guacamole Hummus; and Peruvian-style ceviches. Full tasting menus are available if you want to make an evening of it.
There's live jazz on Monday and Wednesday nights, and live DJs on Saturdays. Cocktails average around Y1,500; tasting menus are Y6,380 (Y11,660 paired with wines); and a la carte dishes are also available.
