The very photogenic, multi-vegetable PiPi Curry is the specialty of the house here, featuring more than a dozen seasonal vegetables in a tasty Japanese European-style curry roux. The vegetables are all well prepared, each adding its own distinctive flavor to the mix. There's a choice of white or brown rice, and curries come with an unusual green salad with spaghetti.
Other curry choices are chicken curry, a very meaty taco curry (based on Okinawan taco rice), katsu curry, curry spaghetti and a vegetable salad plate with a small curry on the side. Optional toppings include cheese, avocado and pork cutlet.
Trico's interior is somewhat more stylish than your usual curry joint, with old movie posters on the brightly colored walls and cozy table seating supplementing the usual counter. Curries and other main dishes are priced from Y800-1200, with toppings adding a bit extra.
